Installing a model 800 precision lift on a standard 3½" x 8 instrument mount is easy with the 15084.  The top of the 15084 is outfitted with the same internal threads as found in the intermediate tubes of Brunson-style stands, and accepts an 800 precision lift.  Then, this assembly easily mounts on any 3½" x 8 external thread.  Also see related product 800-MOD, which is an assembly consisting of this adapter, a precision lift, and a 3½" x 8 instrument mount.
