The 800 precision lift provides precise control of
vertical motion throughout approximately ½" (13mm) range.
It is generally used for fine vertical positioning after the instrument height has
been roughly established with a stand column. A large
diameter, fine-motion screw allows minute height adjustments of
previously leveled instruments fast and easy, while minimizing the
need to re-level the instrument. Internal guideways also
minimize any azimuth (rotational) shifting. The 800's
2.825 x 20 external thread fits into many of the intermediate
tubes on our stands. On top, a recessed dovetail
receptacle provides the interface for our lateral slides and
other products. You can orient these
products in any azimuth direction desired once inserted in the
dovetail socket. Socket head
set screws then tighten on the inserted dovetail and hold it
firmly in place.
You can see a list of all of our instrument
adapters, or look at an entire list of
heavy duty stands.
